Tastevin cup in vintage silver metal, MonE hallmark

This pretty tastevin is in silver metal from the mid-20th century. The wine taster allows in oenology to examine a wine, to look at it, to smell it and to taste it. The hollows and bumps in the tastevin multiply the reflections of the ambient light, which makes it possible to analyze the color of the wine tasted. A wine tasting tool, it is also one of the symbols of viticulture and bacchic brotherhoods. In good general condition, it shows scratches from use and traces of oxidation. It measures 9 X 7 cm X 2 cm high. It bears a “mone” hallmark.
