Old vintage two-body dresser in lightened pine.

This country-style piece of furniture, carefully renovated and brought up to date with care, is made of pine wood, light in weight but solid in structure, practical and takes up little space on the ground, it will delight lovers of the old, beautiful, sober and chic... In the past it has undergone 4 renovations with old-fashioned paint using skin glue and a repair of its structure on the right upright of the upper part and the right door ( attached photo). It took endless hours to manually remove these 4 layers and get to the raw wood. After a good sanding and to give it more lightness, the yellow pine wood was lightly whitened on the outside and protected with a matte acrylic varnish. The interior was given a “clean” look with velvety-effect acrylic paint. The wood is completely healthy but it bears the marks of age and the history of this beautiful piece of furniture (early 1900), a few dents, a few nails, a few holes in the glasses but without their presence (treated and putty). The door panels and the body panel were covered with pine flat panels to give it a more modern style. The original green windows have been replaced by clear glazing. The locks have also been replaced and the doors close with 2 keys provided. The original door frames have been stripped, cleaned and varnished, however they retain a little original patina. The width of the buffet top is 46 cm and its body 40 cm, the width of the upper part is 31 cm. It can be dismantled into 2 parts, the in-between is not indivisible from the upper part, however, a transformation is always possible upon estimate. Unique piece of furniture and careful finishing.
