Pair of Vallauris Louis Giraud vases. Louis Giraud (1897-1985) & Vallauris. Born in 1897, Louis Giraud is a painter and ceramist in Vallauris where he runs an art pottery manufacturing art deco vases. Pair of ovoid earthenware vases. Circa 1942. Decorated with ripolin paint of stylized red flowers on a gold background. Black highlights. Painted signatures "l. Giraud - vallauris" Very good condition, some tiny imperfections linked to time visible in the photos. Rare and chic.
