Artistic nude, sanguine, framed, produced by Jean Cardot at the School of Fine Arts. Jean Cardot is a French sculptor born July 20, 1930 in Saint-Étienne (Loire) and died October 13, 20201 in Paris. He was elected a member of the Academy of Fine Arts of the Institute of France on November 9, 1983 in the chair of Paul Belmondo. He was president of the Academy of Fine Arts in 1992 and 1997. From 1941 to 1956, Jean Cardot successively attended the School of Fine Arts of Saint-Étienne, then that of Lyon, and finally the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des fine arts in Paris in the workshops of Marcel Gaumont and Alfred Janniot. After winning his first second Grand Prix in Rome in 1956, he stayed at the Casa de Velázquez in Madrid from 1957 to 1959.
