Tapestry "The Quest for the Grail"

This beautiful tapestry entitled "the quest for the grail" takes up the one that was designed by edward burne-jones, and woven in 1895 by morris & co. It is part of a series of 6 panels illustrating the history of the holy grail. It represents the arming and departure of the knights of the round table, including bors, percival and galahad. The original is in the museum of birmingham (uk). Dimensions 105 X 70 cm. Weaving with "jacquard point tapestry" - 52% viscose, 45% acrylic - 3% polyester.
