Description
The rare dalami chair designed by borek sipek in 1994 for scarabas. A chair that reminds one of a throne. He was well known to use different materials. With the dalami chair for instance the backrest is made of plywood, shaped in a unique form that ressembles a flower / tulip. Metal legs and armrests partially covered with a velvet red fabric for comfort. Borek sipek (1949-2016) was a czech architect and a versatile artist. Most of his creations had a romantic touch to it. The chair has a few defects / damages on the lower area and edges of the plywood backrest visible on the photos. Dimensions: Height: 81cm. Width: 62cm. Depth: 58cm. Seat height: 48cm.
