Centerpiece, trumpet vase

Coming from the charente region of france, this beautiful epergne features art nouveau “myosotis” floral decorations on the vase and trumpet dish. It sits on a four-legged white metal stand to give it extra stability. The stand is probably silver babbitt and is marked 200 on the base. The vase is for cut flowers and the dish can be used to display fruit, chocolates or sweets and makes a stunning centerpiece. The glass is in perfect condition with no chips or scratches. The silver plate has worn away in very small areas due to daily use for approximately 100 years! This unique piece would make a stunning centerpiece for a special celebration or christmas table.
