Description
Bentwood bistro parrot from the 1920s. "lyonnais" model (origin of manufacture not formally identified but it is often found in old lyon bistros, corks, brasseries, probably coming from the south-west bentwood factory formerly located in valence...) - in three parts, the head being removable as well as the bobèche which covers it. Head with eight hooks, and therefore rotating. Finishing of the coat hooks in turned wooden beads. Fluted mast, double crossed base fitted with shoes (like the thonet). Single circle cane/umbrella holder.|good condition of use and conservation for this original piece, in its original color, solid structure and healthy wood (not pitted).|height 2 m, width 55 X 55 cm approx.|delivery throughout france.
