Provençal still life

Bright oil on canvas by François Florit (1898-): large pots of aloe vera sit on the columns of a terrace in Bormes. The subtlety of the colours is carried by a strong and generous knife paint. The painting is signed in the material at the bottom right, its dating is difficult at the beginning of the 20th probably, period of its activity in the workshop of 6 rue de Steinkerque in Paris on the Montmartre Butte. The chassis has a label, a Bormes title and its name. It is in perfect tense condition and without restoration.
