Melitta vintage coffee filter 50s, type 100, white porcelain, for 1 to 2 people: ideal for your morning slow coffee! Dimensions: height 8 cm, diameter of coffee container 10 cm, diameter of base 10 cm. The drop melitta filter was born from an idea of melitta bentz, a housewife in dresden, germany in 1908. Wanting to speed up the preparation of the morning coffee, she pierced the bottom of a can and placed blotting paper from a school notebook. Shortly thereafter, she submitted the invention to the patent office. Melitta filters are known all over the world.
