Carpet of the famous Dutch brand Prinstapijt - Desso, from the 60's - 70's, designed by the unmissable Verner Panton. High quality "high pile wool" weaving, hand-twollen. Polyacrylic wool. Psychedelic twirl pattern, all in op art, Desso drowns us in a hypnotic whirlwind of red orange waves, dear to his designer. Table in motion, with modernist pop art concerns, of the space age era, this rug imposes as much by its size as by its style. Its colour-rich composition fills the space with a velvety drapery and will be perfect for any vintage retro seventies, modern or contemporary interior. Raised in a wall board, or affixed to the ground, one thing is for sure, this carpet with a strong personality will not go unnoticed! Period carpet without noticeable defect, cleaned by hand by a master craftsman carpeter of Paris, according to non-destructive techniques revealing all the brilliance of the material and the original colors. There is nothing more to do than to put it down and admire it.
