Floor lamp by Barbieri & Marianelli for Tronconi - Italy

Italian modernist work by architects raul barbieri and giorgio marianelli. Trolling model. 1975 edition for tronconi. The structure is made of chromed metal, the outer shell of the reflector is also made of metal (perforated black sheet). The very stable foot is made of cast iron. Slight wear, missing drive knob, working condition. Barbieri and marianelli came from the politecnico of milan and opened their architecture studio in the mid-70s. This piece is one of their first creations. It was presented and awarded at the 1978 international lighting fair.
