A late 19th century french floral still life in a gilded frame. Oil on paper depicting a variety of flowers including lilac, roses, and daisies. A basket of fruit in the foreground with plums, cherries and peaches with butterflies and a dragonfly. Illegible signature lower left. Framed under glass with black silk mat and gilt frame. Some losses to gilt, as found.
