Bünte und remmler desk lamp model 2700 stabil. Burnished iron arm and painted black cast iron base. Small and diagonally cut reflector - aluminum-colored inside and black painted outside. Articulated arm and shade. E27 tap socket, power 15-60 watts. Original on/off switch integrated into the bulb socket. Dimensions: height 40 cm; length 20 cm; width 15 cm; reflector diameter 13.5 cm. Weight: 1.7 kg. Produced by bünte und remmler (bur), frankfurt am main. Designed by christian dell. Production period: 1935-1940. During the 1920s and 1930s, bur was one of the rare light manufacturers producing designs from the bauhaus school. The company employed designers as wilhelm wagenfeld and christian dell who created the shape of modern desk lightings as we still know today. Bur is renowned among vintage lights collectors due to the quality and design of its products. Bünte und remmler was honored by 3 design prices. Restored vintage patina condition: original painting with some light patina and chips, fully re-wired with modern electrical components and black round electric cable 2 X 0.75mm² covered by cotton fabric.
