This lush console with imposing dimensions is inspired by the lines and curves of louis XV style furniture, with an impressive abundance of sculptures, particularly on the front facade. The belt is delicately sculpted in high relief with a floral decoration surrounded by large scrolls with acanthus leaves and large flowered reserves extending on the sides punctuated by shells forming foliage scrolls. Its long curved legs are decorated with floral sculptures, notably acanthus leaves, and the large spacer benefits from the same treatment with numerous floral ornamentations. The entire frame is carved from solid wood, of very good quality and above all has benefited from an old-fashioned golden patina, with subtle aging effects and a leaf finish for an antique look.
