Extended farmhouse table, 8 people

Farmhouse table with retractable extensions, oak legs, poplar top. Both extensions are an old modification, they were made in oak plank, probably old parquet. They fit together by means of two arms that are lodged in holes in the headband of the table, the assembly is stable and solid. In its original format the table is perfect for four, see six people, with the extensions you can make a table of eight guests. It has been completely cleaned with iron straw and left raw, with time and use the wood will take a nice patina, the cleaning will be done with sponge and soapy water. The headband height is 58 cm on the drawer side and 61 cm for the other three sides. The legs received small extensions (these old tables were often a little low), to make a height. Total of 73 cm. The length with extensions is 185 cm and 119 cm without extensions. The width is quite comfortable with 84cm.
