Description
Flemish stoneware vase. Early 20th century, probably from factories in eastern flemish, near ghent, run respectively by charles, auguste and jules maes. Vase turned, then the handles were added, then everything is enameled in both opaque and transparent glaze typical of flemish work. Flemish ceramic vase with asymmetrical handles and melted enamels, slightly transparent, in green and orange tones. Hand-turned vase, signed on the heel in the mass. Good condition, slight cracks in the enamel, see photos. Height 18.5 X 13 X 9 cm.
