Cardboard craft furniture

Professional furniture... Cardboard maker or notary furniture. Storage unit with 16 compartments. In each of them is inserted a cardboard box responsible for preserving manuscripts. It was under Louis Philippe that it spread especially among notaries and lawyers. They are then equipped with central locking mechanisms. This one, the hinges still work but I no longer have the key to lock them. So I diverted it from its primary function... It will be a shoe cabinet or for the office... It is made of raw wood painted in original black... So classy🤣🤣 Takes up little space, and can be stored away everywhere... Period 1900.
