Description
Limoges porcelain tureen or vegetable bowl from the ulim (union limousine) factory, active from 1927 to 1972. This piece dating from the 1940s-1950s presents romantic marquise scenes from the 18th century, made by applying decals and painted by hand with gold paint under floral patterns inspired by the english collection "james kent ltd.longton" from the romance series. * ulim porcelain, sought after by many collectors, is distinguished by its elegant decorations, often richly gilded. The factory was renowned for its expertise in the application of decals and hand painting, particularly in gilding. * in very good condition with some scars from time, the piece shows no cracks, hairs or chips, only artisanal imperfections and erasures, notably on some gilding on the handles and on the gilding above the lid. * this tureen or vegetable bowl could perfectly complement an existing service, particularly in a similar style of limoges tableware with gallant, marquise and romantic scenes. Present a good slow-cooked dish such as blanquette, bourguignonne, coral lentil dahl, colombo or chickpea curry to amaze your guests at your meal table. * ⚖️1, 031 kg 📏 21 cm dia / 10 cm h 🌐 instagram: unetouchedepoque.
