This lithograph by Jacques Villon is an original print from 1948 by Mourlot, signed in the plate. This lithograph comes from the work "Jacques Villon ou l'art glorieux" by Paul Eluard and René Jean, published by Louis Carrée, Paris, 1948. Printed in 1800 copies on heavily watermarked Arches vellum. The lithograph is titled "The Three Orders" after the 1944 oil painting of the same name (Virginia Museum of Fine Art). This is a view of Beaugency (Loiret). Reference: Miguel Orozco "the prints of Jacques Villon" Jacques Villon (1875-1963), brother of Marcel Duchamp, is an important artist of the Cubist movement from 1912. The paper has been folded (see photos) but the folds are very barely visible once framed (1st photo). Image size 16 x 22 cm. Sent framed as in the photo.
