Black néré wood bowls

Series of 3 néré wood bowls from Burkina Faso. These bowls are still used there for food. The boiled pods of this tree, present in sub-Saharan Africa, are used to blacken the bowls. Cut by hand, they have irregularities and the dimensions vary slightly from one specimen to another. The 3 bowls in the set are stackable. With a refined design, these raw material bowls bring a very trendy modern ethnic touch to interior decoration!.
