Antique mirror with bow crest 126x220cm

Very large french 19th century gilt wood louis philippe mirror with an elegant bow crest. This mirror has the typical rounded upper corners that make it a louis philippe mirror. The glass is authentic to this mirror and in very good condition. The mirror glass shows some nice foxing. The mirror contains the original wooden back cladding, In many case we don’t know who the pervious owners of the mirrors are that we are selling. With this mirror we do know! As we collected the mirror ourselves from a wonderful maison close to carcassonne in the south of france, that we always call “the pink house” (see the picture). H 220 cm. W 126 cm.
