France / 1900 / stool / wood / rustic / mid-century. Beautifully crafted wooden stool in dark wood, made in france around 1900. With 3 hand carved legs and a small tree trunk top. The stool has a nice aged patina on the wood. Made of solid wood with a rich dark brown finish, this piece is unlike any other stool as no nails were used to fix the legs. Instead, they were inserted and then screwed by hand under the seat. The seat has retained its natural grain and shape, as well as the colour, its rich original patina. With its minimalist design and sturdy construction, this stool will easily find its place in modern interiors.
