Louis Paolozzi ed. Monopoly teak desk

Old minister or presidency style desk by italian designer louis paolozzi, by monopoly editions in the 1960s. Very beautiful, totally timeless desk in teak veneer and gray square tubular structure. Due to its dimensions, this desk is very pleasant, its design allows it to be placed either against a wall or in the middle of a room. It has a large top resting on four metal legs. The right box can be slid over the entire length, thanks to an ingenious sliding system on a central bar. An extension can be added on the left side, very easy to install. It is possible to leave the extension horizontally to expand the desk, vertically or to remove it completely. The box is made up of two drawers, one smaller and one large, suitable for hanging files. Very good general condition, the wood may nevertheless contain some traces or marks, inherent to its age. The metal structure is slightly pitted in places, giving it all its charm and singularity. A glass plate can be supplied with the desk, to the dimensions of the top, to protect the furniture if necessary. - total dimensions - l 205.5 X d 70 X h 75 cm length excluding extension - 155 cm thickness of top 4.5 cm height under top - 70 cm dimensions of drawers - l 36 X d 56 X h 7 and 27 cm.
