Friso Kramer Pair of armchairs for Ahrend de Cirkel 1959

Pair of armchairs designed by Friso Kramer in 1959 for Ahrend de Cirkel. The chairs are newly upholstered with a nice Kvadrat Sunniva 2 (designed by Raf Simons) blended light grey / greenish (color 132) fabric (58% wool). The armrests are newly done with black leatherette. Also the foam is renewed. The chairs have a fantastic V-shaped frame with metal structure. The design won the prestigious Signe d'Or price in 1960. Great looking chairs and very comfortable as well. Except for some traces of wear on the backside the chairs are in excellent condition.
