"Butterfly" chair, Denmark, 1970

Originally, this chair originated in Argentina in 1938. It is designed by 3 young argentinian designers who have all collaborated with le corbusier. It quickly became a great success and inspired many publishers especially in scandinavia. Danish re-edition from 1970. Red leather-like canvas, welded steel structure of a single piece in the workshop. Chair with a high back that supports all the back and head. Seat height: 42cm. In excellent condition with minimal traces of wear.
