Mid-century rosewood chair from awa meubelfabriek, 1960s. Chairs designed by dutch manufacturer awa meubelfabriek of almelo. Dutch design with a danish look. Marked with the retailer's sticker that says awa guarantee voor: goede construcite en goede arbeid (guarantee of good construction and good workmanship). Fluid and organic lines, the awa factory produced very high quality furniture in solid wood pieces. Designer unknown, but they look like designs by akerblom and louis van teeffelen.
