Greek column vase

Part of an exciting new range blending ancient greek pottery and contemporary design, the 'greek column' vase features delicate underglaze blue illustrations that harmonize traditional and modern aesthetics. The blue underglazes are meticulously applied by hand before the initial firing, giving the vase a touch of antiquity. After a second firing at 1250°c, a transparent glaze is added inside for a refined finish, ensuring long-lasting durability. As each piece is handcrafted, decorative designs and shapes may vary subtly. Dimensions: 20 X 27 cm graduated from the école supérieure des beaux-arts de montpellier in 2018, the designer inhee ma is originally from south korea and develops a multidisciplinary activity, combining contemporary art, design and crafts. She now lives and works in france, in the burgundy region. The ini ceramique collections are born from the meeting between aesthetic inspiration and the functionality of everyday objects. All ini ceramique pieces are handcrafted by the designer, in her workshop in burgundy. Made of chamotte stoneware, they are then fired at high temperature and present a contrast between a shiny transparent enameled interior and a raw exterior which highlights the natural texture of the earth.
