Old photo portrait framed in wood and stucco

Large framing of a portrait of a woman under glass. The wooden frame, probably dating from the 19th century, is nicely decorated with several stucco motifs (laurel leaves, pearls and another motif), gilded on a black or red background in places. The photograph could date from the years 1880 to 1900. At the back a label with the addition of a handwritten note indicates the contact details of the framer who restored the frame in 1982. The whole is in rather good condition, solid, patterns decorative elements of the frame without any lack, but does not hide signs of its age: two corners have a chip revealing the bare stucco, but fortunately not very visible once the frame is hung on the wall, cracks on the decorative friezes, numerous but well restored, a crack on the frame probably going to the wood, well repaired, stains and gaps on the gilding. As well as small defects, original this time: a small air bubble on the glass, and two small defects in the photos. The frame measures cm by cm for a thickness of cm. 41 cm wide, 53.5 cm high and 4 cm thick.
