Silver metal greyhound knife holder

Beautiful set of 12 vintage silver plated knife benches, cutlery holders, table decoration, in the shape of afghan hounds. Missing case box. There is no hallmark on this type of item which nonetheless remains of good quality. It is likely a white metal (alloy) coated with a thin layer of real silver which makes it more resistant to tarnishing and corrosion. Common for this type of table accessories (1960s) unsigned. They show signs of use and patina (see photos) - have experienced: black oxidation, yellowing for some, small stains and lack of silver, peeling in places, traces of tarnishing and lack of shine for others, without harming the aesthetics of the object. Dimensions: width 9 X h1.5 X thickness 8mm weight: 192 grams.
