Art deco ceramic pitcher – circa 1920 the piece is numbered 173 and signed alpho. Golden dedication on the blank, not very legible. Biography: alphonse mouton was born in 1900 into a family of potters. He worked in saint vallier in the south-east of france from the 1930s to the 1980s. He used a series of recognizable glazes in colors ranging from blue dark, from green to beige. Height: 13.5cm circumference at widest: 31cm no ships.
