Basketry basket

Large basketry basket, 75 cm long - authentic farmer's van. The van is an agricultural tool that farmers use to clean cereals, to "winnow" them. It is a very flat and wide basket used to separate the straw, the husk and the dust of the good grain by throwing them in the air with an alert gesture to offer the wind the lightest parts to eliminate (https: //fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/van_(agriculture)). The word "van" is the origin of the more general name of "basketry". This is a fairly rare collector's item.
