A hard wax gives a glossy finish beautifully showcasing the depth and grain of the woods and brings softness to the touch. About the artist: Jacques sarphatie (1965) began woodworking while studying at hout-en meubilerings college (hmc) amsterdam and since then has been inventing, designing and creating “slow-made furniture” and emphasizing the importance of understanding the story of how products are made and by whom. Though woods are his preferred material to bring his visions to life, he is continuously evolving design and pushing his creativity with his brand urban proof furniture (upfu) - challenging people to look differently at everyday things.
