Smoke barrier Napoleon III . XIX th marquetry Boulle

Beautiful object quite rare. Napoleon III smoke barrier in rich brass and scale marquetry. Beautiful richly decorated brass factory at each end with scallops and crank to bring in and out the fabric panel that prevents fumes from spreading in the room (the object was placed on the fireplace) Both the whole and the mechanism is in very good condition and only needs to be re-functioning (including the wooden rod where the fabric is fixed) Sides in black napoleon iii. C is the top that is beautiful with its very abundant brass decoration. Some stabilized scale and brass uplifts, restoration at least, 1 extremely discreet lack (see photo 6) I provide with, a sufficient coupon of very beautiful wild silk lyon of the 60s. Length 58 cm.
