Pair of pine stools, French Alps circa 1970

Passionate about mountains, charlotte perriand worked for 20 years (1967-1989) on the design and furnishing of the ski resort of les arcs in the french alps. She designs and furnishes the apartments, and also selects a number of pieces such as bruno rey chairs for example. Among his selections are these inverted u-shaped stools made of solid pine. They have been sanded and varnished.
