Superb watercolor depicting a magnificent bouquet of white, blue and pink flowers surrounded by nuanced green foliage in a golden vase on pedestal decorated with frieze and leaf. The vase rests on a gold-colored leafy entablature bearing the inscription "paul millord and victoire clergé, married on june 9, 1888" and surmounted by a white marble. This charming watercolor was probably painted for the wedding of paul millord and victoire clergé in 1888. The whole is beautifully framed with a gold border. The gilded period setting is in very good condition. The frame is accompanied by a glass to protect the whole. Some photos were taken without the glass to avoid reflections and thus show the quality of this painting. Very nice achievement. This watercolor is beautiful!
