Description
In 1957 rogier vandeweghe left perignem, a ceramics workshop he had founded together with his brother laurent. He relocated to sint-andries, a suburb of bruges, where he founded his new company amphora. Together with his wife and ceramic painter myranna pyck he produced ceramic vases, tiles and tables with strong colors and different types of glazing. This table dates from the mid sixties and is a perfect example of the craftsmanship vandeweghe was known for. The table is signed amphora sint-andries and stands in a very good condition.
