Large white earthenware dish "faces" by Jean Marais

Jean marais's large oval dish in white earthenware, embossed décor with a stylized double face, 70s. Perfect condition. Height 5cm. Width 34cm. Depth 26cm. Jean marais engraved signature on both sides. By the way... Jean marais (1913-1998) Actor, director, writer, jean marais retired to the alpes-maritimes in the 70s, first to cabris where he spent fifteen years (a boulevard of the commune near the house he lived in, which bears his name) and then to vallauris, where he practiced pottery, sculpture and theatre. He opened a shop and even an art gallery thanks to a couple of pottery friends.
