The lip features a dynamic frieze of further foliage in the same palette. With handmade textures, this fantastic piece of talavera pottery showcases vibrant brushstrokes in a classic colour combination. Many plates of this series are in the museum. Earthenware dishes from the "ferns and swallows" series, 17-18th century. Date: 17-18th century. Dimensions: d - 24 cm/ 9, 4in. H - 4 cm / 10, 5 in. Condition: good antique condition, no chips, damage or repairs.
