Asian wall showcase, mahogany – xxth

Elegant showcase with asian inspirations in solid mahogany. This small piece of furniture has a door whose frame is molded soberly. The high crossbeam is cut and carved with rinceaux and foliage. These stylized scrolls add charm and harmony to this door opening onto brass hinges. A chiseled key accompanies the working lock. Inside this exhibition cabinet, we discover a box decorated with shelves of different sizes on several levels. Some shelves with curved ends recall the characteristic roofs of chinese or japanese dwellings of past centuries. In the rear part, this showcase is hung by two brass supports, inspired by the decorations of east asia.
