Table and 4 Scandinavian carved chairs 1960s

Dining table set and 4 Scandinavian chairs. Swedish craftsmanship dating from the 1960s. Lots of charm in this original set for which the craftsman drew his inspiration from black forest style furniture for a rustic result that echoes folk art. The carving marks are visible and add character to the whole. A table whose top is supported by a base depicting bears. Four chairs whose backs represent bears. The whole thing is made of pine, all of wood, the assembly is also done using wooden dowels. The table is stable and has a patina from normal use. The chairs are stable when sitting on them even if some play in the feet, normal for this type of assembly and a piece of furniture of this age, may be noted if the chairs are handled to move them for example.
