Danish rosewood side table by Arne Wahl Iversen for Vinde Møbelfabrik, 1960s

This stunning piece of vintage mid-century modern furniture is a fine example of this particular design. Not only is it entirely made from wonderful rosewood as opposed to more common teak, it is in fabulous condition with no damage or significant wear beyond the genuine patina of 50+ years of use. The rosewood is of a wonderful quality and is book matched on the drawers, top and even the rear of the piece making it suitable for use a a freestanding item away from walls if desired. The three drawer box section seems to float within the dowel leg frame which encases the unit. The lower shelf is slatted and suitable for magazines etc. All original and in superb condition. Original planter insert present also. A wonderful piece that fits in a variety of locations and actually works well as a small library as well as a planter. Perfect for that mid-century modern or danish inspired interior. Dimension h56 X w94 X d35.
