Sideboard by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, 1960s

A lovely sideboard, designed by cees braakman and manufactured by pastoe in the netherlands around 1960. It is made of nice quality wenge wood with white doors and metal handles. It has four doors and two drawers. The left two doors reveal three shelves, the two smaller doors on the right reveal two more shelves! The drawer units reveal plenty of storage space, including a set-up for smaller items! It stands on a beautiful steel base. This is a highly recognizable piece of dutch modernist design! Versatile and highly decorative. It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
