Pair of hollywood regency pine apple wall sconces by emil stejnar for rupert nikoll, austria 1960s

Incredibly rare set of wall sconces by emil stejnar for rupert nikoll, austria 1960s. Generally we see these pine apple lamps in cascade pendants ( often also taken apart and sold separately as single pendants ) but to find them in their original bracket is rare. All the acrylic crystals are complete and as can be seen is all the brass in a lovely patinated condition. Last time they were used they were fitted directly into the wall and operated with a main switch buts as you can see on the back of the wall mount the black pull switch cord mechanism is still there so by adding a cord you can also operate them manually which is easy for example when used as bed side lamps.
