Eames Soft pad EA205 armchair, Herman Miller edition 1970

Seat designed by ray and charles eames for herman miller in the 60s and produced from 1969 by herman miller (and still produced by vitra today). From the aluminium group series, the soft pad is a more luxurious and opulent version. Structure in polished cast aluminum beautifully, generous cushions of 5 cm in brown leather resting on a stretched canvas. Distributed by mobilier international (sticker present), this edition of the 70s has the logo and herman miller number struck in the mass. Exceptional build quality, contrast of metal and leather, high class. Very good condition, the aluminum has been polished, the leather fed, not a snag, seam defeated... Etc. Just to report, 2 small imprints left in the leather by an object placed on it for a while, it should become again over time. Height: 83 cm. Width: 52 cm. Depth: 58 cm. Seat height 45-50 cm.
