A large taxidermy thompson's gazelle mounted & well proportioned set of gazelle horns by arguably the most noted & talented taxidermy outfit of all time. Stunning piece! A mounted pair of gazelle horns and part of the skull, set on an oak shield, with bracket to put on the wall. In typical ward style the mount is extremely high quality with the horns mounted on a solid oak shield. Probably early or mid 20th century. Wear commensurate with age, exceptional overall, as close to mint condition as you're likely to find. Measures: 46 cm wide (widest part) 36 cm depth. 50 cm high. Shield measures: 17 cm wide. 23 cm high.
