Vintage chair by Gérard Guermonprez for Godfrid from the 50s/60s

Very beautiful and very original so-called "rockabilly" chair circa 1960. Model by designer gérard guermonprez for rené godfrid editions, characterized by a very minimalist spindle base and a very slightly reclining backrest. The structure is in beech wood in a pretty honey hue, the seat and back have been completely redone by an upholsterer especially for sale and covered in a smooth duck blue velvet (a little more green than in the photos) very trendy. The backrest screws are made of brass. Height at backrest 81 cm, seat 46 cm, width 46 cm, depth 55 cm. In perfect condition, this pretty chair will be a nice decorative element in a bedroom but can also be used as a comfortable office chair for teleworking.
