One of the icon of polish mid-century design model gfm-64 armchairs, designed by edmund homa - polish architect, industrial and interior design designer, professor at the academy of fine arts in gdansk. The set has been manufactured by goscicinska furniture factory in poland in the 1960s. The structure is made of solid beechwood in a warm dark brown color, finished with a semi matte varnish. The upholstery is made of a high quality 100% linen in a warm beige color. The set has been completely restored - the wood has been polished and refinished, the new upholstery foams have been used, the upholstery was hand sewn. The photos were taken in different light to show how the color changes.
