Apothecary bottle

Real vintage glass pharmacy bottle, with a formerly red sheet metal cap with gold borders. It has a time-yellowed label, with red and black borders, on which it is written "baccae juniperi". Juniper berries, known by the latin name of baccae juniperi, are small globose berries of a deep blue-black. Versatile, they are used in cooking and in the manufacture of alcoholic beverages. They are also known for their medicinal properties, especially as antioxidants and anti-inflammatories. This apothecary pot has preserved the traces of his experience, but it has its place in a cabinet of curiosities and will add a deliciously retro touch to your interior.
