Appoint Table with Exotic Placage and Epoxy Finish

Period: ca. 1940-1960. A two-tiered side table with beautiful veneer and black lace-up wood. This mid-century wooden table has been completely redesigned to give it a new life. The feet, lower tray and sides were painted with a shiny black lasca. The rectangular tray with cut panels was plated with cocobolo, which was then covered with epoxy resin giving it a magnificent shine. The feet have been placed asymmetrically, resulting in an interesting and attractive design. State: Good (in its new state of finish). The table is not new and there are therefore slight irregularities related to age here and there under the coat of paint. Size: See photo.
